    Although the landmarks change, even mountains and rocks we imagine as solid, some things never change. Thank you for sharing this sweet moment with us, and the child’s pleasures in an outing by the sea (who is apparently more impressed by the remembrances of sunny luncheons and treats than the marvels of nature). 🙂

      The mother and child bond is unchanging over generations, but really nothing stays the same. When I was slightly older than in this photo, I was fascinated by the seagulls and the seaweed, especially the seaweed that you could pop.
